About Assetto Hub

Assetto Hub is an independent directory of Assetto Corsa mods, built by a single sim-racing enthusiast and maintained since June 2023. It started from a simple problem: finding truly good mods can be time-consuming, and the modding community deserves more visibility. Every mod featured on Assetto Hub is downloaded, scanned with VirusTotal, and tested in-game before it’s published.

The goal is simple: help you discover great car and track mods faster with powerful filters, while always crediting the original creators.

Our approach

Quality over quantity. I hand-pick each mod (no automated scraping), verify the original source, scan files with VirusTotal, and test everything in-game before listing it.

VirusTotal scanning

Before publishing, mod files are scanned with VirusTotal, which aggregates results from multiple antivirus vendors and URL scanners. This helps reduce risk and flag obvious threats, but no scan can guarantee 100% safety.

In-game testing

Mods go through a full in-game test suite before listing. Car mods are benchmarked with the AccelTest app to verify realistic performance data, while each track is driven from start to finish to check surfaces, AI lines, pits and layout consistency. Testing is done on sim-racing hardware (direct-drive wheel) and on controller to ensure a reliable experience for both.

All car and track images are captured in-game during testing, to show real visuals rather than promotional renders.

Credits & removals

Creators are credited on every mod page, with links to their official pages and support profiles whenever available. Only free mods are listed (free status is verified before publishing). If a creator wants a listing updated or removed, a request can be submitted via the contact form on this page.
